11 steps into discovering your inner fangirl

To start off: I am a massive fangirl, I love a whole bunch of people, from One Direction, to Dan and Phil, from Tom Hiddleston to Shawn Mendes. But none of my friends are ‘like’ me, even though they like music or youtubers, they wouldn’t go to any lengths to see them live or get a twitter follow from them. So I guess I’m kinda the odd one out in my squad, everyone else is sane and normal, whereas my brain is going roundabout on Joe Sugg’s latest video or Shawn’s follow spree later that night.

So, if you want to be in this emotional pit of love and happiness overcome by jealousy and anger because you will never meet your idol, then read on! 🙂 

So to loose your fangirl virginity, and experience life through the eyes of someone like me, follow these simple steps to becoming emotionally invested and in love with someone who is 10 years older than you and doesn’t know who the hell you are! 

I am really making this sound appealing, aren’t i? Aha 

But this is the life I have lead, and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

1) Start by watching an actor, youtuber or singer’s videos, films, or listen to their music. Obvious, I know! 

2) Search for ‘(possible idol’s name) funny moments/cute moments’ on youtube. Now this is what I did and there was no turning back for me, now I know most of the directioner’s inside jokes and what funny things Benedict Cumberbatch did on a chat show 3 years ago, which I don’t regret.

By now, you should’ve decided if you love them, or hate them.

3) Now, follow them on every social media ever, and follow as many fan accounts as needed.

4) Search their names into google, youtube, tumblr, instagram and twitter hashtags and vine. And see what what you can find! 

5) Try to get them to follow you on everything, take part in any follow spree or Q&A needed to be noticed. One of my greatest achievements is getting Caspar Lee to follow me on Twitter! 

6)Make a fan account. I’ve done this one too, at least a year ago, and it pretty much failed, I guess ‘JoellaSugglets’ just wasn’t up to scratch! (Do not look for it, it is very much deleted). At least I got a like from Caspar again (he must really like me!).

7) Watch every TV programme they’ve been on. So, if you see that they’re on the Ellen show tonight, well, you better be watching it! 

8) Go online and buy your new favourite person/people’s merchandising, and wear it wherever and whenever! 

9) Next, is to see them live in concert, go to a convention, meet and greet or live panel.

10) Now, just keep repeating steps 1,2,4,5,7 and 8, and 9 whenever possible, until….. Well who knows until what, it shouldn’t matter because you love these guys and you are loyal! 

Seriously though, it is the best feeling to be followed by your fave and to see them live! 

11) Lastly, meet them, marry them, have their babies and live a long and happy life with them! …. Unfortunately, I haven’t got to this stage YET, but I will, you’ll see, and I know it will be glorious!

My Top 10 One Direction songs

Hey! I realise that this is a short post – but expect a longer one soon, as tomorrow (Friday 30th) I am going to The Harry Potter studio tour (again); I will take loads of photos that I will post by the end of the week. 

Here’s my Top 10 One Direction songs! Enjoy 

(In no particular order) 

1. Little White Lies, Midnight Memories – I love this song, and the build up before the last chorus! 
2. Clouds, Four – this is a great song, also amazing live, one of my favourites from this album.
3. Right now, Midnight Memories – this song brings such an atmosphere. Call me weird, but I find that this song is best listened to at night, in a car, headphones on, on the way back from a day trip in London or somewhere. 
4. Best song ever, Midnight Memories – this really is the best song ever (well close anyway), and has one of the best music videos One Direction has had. Everyone knows it, and you HAVE to sing along.
5. 18, Four – I love how this song gradually builds up, both in the middle of the songs and last chorus.
6. No Control, Four – another great song to hear live. I don’t know what else to say! 
7. Perfect, Made in the a.m.-again, the name describes the song. This newly released song has been played repeatedly on my Spotify, I love it! 
8. Ready to run, Four – I would be repeating myself if I told you that I love this song, however; my dad and brother were singing the chorus the other day, so it can’t be that bad! 
9. Little Things, Take me home – this is a perfect song, and I can’t understand why anyone would dislike it. I love the last chorus where they all sing together.
10. Drag me down, Made in the a.m. – last but not least. You’ve all heard this song, and I’ll you’ll be lying if you said you haven’t sang along to it. 

Honourable mentions: Infinity, Change your ticket, all songs from Four, Diana, Strong, Happily and Illusion.

I hope you enjoyed this list, it was hard to choose just 10, but if you’re looking for good 1D songs, have a listen to any song from Four or Midnight Memories.
